Wife swap's racial tensions?

Sure it's an old episode of Wife Swap but watching it now makes it seem incredibly awkward. If anyone's curious, the episode's called: "Flummerfelt/Bray".
They're both are an interracial couple, the bw/wm couple is interesting. The bw in that relationship is lazy as rocks and the husband cleans and such, now vise versa for the ww/bm couple. The bm doesn't do shit, ww does everything. It's odd how "beneath-the-surface" racism there is.
So the wives switch families, immediately the bw screams that its a black man and she's semi angry yet terrified. All in all the couples are stereotyping each other, the ww keeps moaning about how she can't see a bm bow down and clean the house and that wm are more likely to do this, or in her words "better suited". The bw keeps moaning about how black men are over powering for no reason.
They're both generalizing each other and it's awkward as hell!
It's an interesting episode but it's weird that they keep such a stagnant heavy amount of racial tension even if they are in interracial couples.
And now she's publicly making herself look like an idiot, how damn ignorant are people to publicly show inconsistencies in race relations. One thing i do agree with is what the bm said, he's correct in the fact that her ignorance [the bw's] is what makes race relations in the country [USA] what it is today.
What can we do? That's a good question but for now, i'll keep watching this rivetingly fascinating episode of Wife Swap.
